About Us

The Arches Recovery Services is a corporation that provides a Structured Living Environment for men and women, 18 years of age or older, recovering from the disease of alcoholism and drug addiction. The Arches provides a structured and supportive drug and alcohol free environment in a home-like community setting.

The Arches program is based on the 12-Steps as laid out in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. The 12-Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous are, in our opinion, the method of establishing long-term sobriety and recovery from alcohol and drug addiction that is the most effective for the largest number of people.

The Steps build a foundation with emphasis on core elements of honesty, integrity, openness, willingness, self-reflection, spirituality, and responsibility for one's own actions. By aligning The Arches program with this structure we not only access the therapeutic value of the Steps but also establish a support system for the residents that will continue long after they leave The Arches.

CEO

David is the Chief Executive Officer and majority share owner of The Arches Recovery Services. He is committed to providing the highest level of care and individualized support to the resident and their families as they navigate the various challenges of recovery and transition back into productive living. David is the President of GARR and is heavily involved in recovery service work and advocacy at the local, state, and national levels. He has a deep passion for the recovery lifestyle and for helping others.

Marcus Britt

COO

Marcus is the Chief Operating Officer and minority share owner of The Arches Recovery Services. His unwaveringly principled nature and approach to operating The Arches assures a level of quality and ethical care that is unmatched in the industry. Marcus is deeply ingrained in the recovery community and is well known for his integrity and as someone who genuinely practices the principles of recovery in all of his affairs.

Joseph Stevens RRP

Program Director

Joee is the live-in Program Director at The Arches. He provides a level of care and passion for recovery that only comes from an individual who's own life was changed dramatically through recovery. He provides unparalleled leadership and guidance for our residents and seamless management of the day-to-day affairs of The Arches programs.

Women's Program Coordinator

Dez is our live-in Women's Program Coordinator. Her lived experience and understanding of the unique needs of women in recovery provide a safe, supportive atmosphere that empowers the women in our community to thrive. Her dedication to the recovery lifestyle provides a shining example of recovery in action for our women's program.

Chris Britt

Men's Program Coordinator

Chris is our live-in Men's Program Coordinator. His experience, strength and hope are delivered daily through his role as a supporting staff member in the Men's community. He provides a wide range of coordination and group dynamics that are vital to building a solid community of recovery within The Arches Men's Program.

It's a lot and it's confusing and it's a very traumatic situation - Addiction is devastating and it seems to never end. So much has changed since The Arches was founded in 2008 in the city of Atlanta and it's relationship with recovery. It seems there is another IOP, PHP, or Sober Living program opening up somewhere in the city every week. All of them say about the same thing. They provide individualized care and structure and accountability and this therapy and that therapy and on and on. The reality is you just want a place that works and actually produces results. I can tell you there is no silver bullet. There is no guarantee but there is experience and there is a track record. We have both. Over the years we have helped many individuals find their path to long term recovery. We have even helped a few families who have had more than one member struggle with addiction find their paths.
